Joy of Thread BlogKnitBritish Podcast "I’m Mica and i can’t stop making things" Edinburgh has been my home since 2000 when I immigrated here from Germany. After (what felt like) a life-time working IT I quit my job a few years ago to concentrate full-time on the organisation of the Edinburgh Yarn Festival. I work from home but still have far too little time to craft. Hand-knitting has been a passion for many years but I also love machine-knitting and dress-making. This website/blog is all about my personal projects, with a little Edinburgh mixed in.

Knitting Machine Museum "Welcome to the Virtual Knitting Machine Museum which highlights my 30 year old collection of vintage and modern knitting machines.  Apart from a couple of the illustrated machines ,  I own the the rest -  they are all stored in the Knitting Shed within my garden.   Maintaining them  is a full time job and I enjoy every minute of it.  Besides the knitting machines I have a huge library of books, magazines and loads of  associated accessories and gadgets and of course DesignaKnit, my favourite knitting machine software. My name is Maggi Bloice  and I live in the Cotes D'Armor in beautiful Brittany, in France.  I originally hail from the UK where I spent my working life in Scotland."

Wooleys Some of you may remember an English shop called Woolleys, that had an excellent website with some useful Passap information. However, it has long since disappeared offline. With kind permission from Terry Cotton, and with the help of the internet archive website, I have reproduced the information that I managed to retrieve in PDF format. I hope it may be of some interest.
